Why This Movie Gives Grandparents the Respect They Deserve: It’s the classic story we all know and love: Heidi is the little orphan who ends up charming her bitter grandfather and falling in love with the beautiful mountain he calls home. He’s a curmudgeonly character who just needs a little love to find the true meaning in life. Thankfully, Heidi never backs away from giving him that love, and he’s not afraid to give it right back.
